Day 1: Windhoek to Waterberg

You will be collected between 08:00 and 08:30 within Windhoek city. The first day will take us to Waterberg . The buildings of Waterberg Wilderness Lodge shelter in a long valley in the midst of the Waterberg mountain range. Built from red Waterberg sandstone they nestle under enormous old trees.

The afternoon will bring us great excitement, as we will join a local guide on a Rhino drive for 3hours. The excitement of coming close on foot with the White Rhino, great opportunity to make memorable picture of this giants.

Day 2: Waterberg to Okaukuejo Camp, Etosha National Park

This morning we make an early start and head off towards the Etosha National Park. We will travel via Outjo ,. Having arrived at Okaukeujo Camp and familiarised ourselves with the surroundings we take our first game drive during the cool of the afternoon. The game viewing is usually excellent with close views of springboks, zebras, impalas, giraffes, gemsboks and plenty of birds. If we are lucky we may also have some close encounters with elephants and lions. Back at the resort we may enjoy a glass of wine and experience a fabulous sunset from the tower of the old German fort before dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Okaukuejo Camp to Namutoni to, Etosha National Park

Today we will spend most of the day watching wildlife. A visit to a number of waterholes is high on the cards and we make a stop at the Etosha Pan, the “place of dry water”. The Pan is an extensive flat depression of about 5,000 km2. This great, white expanse is a place of shimmering mirages and seeing large herds of game in this setting makes Etosha a unique experience. We may stop at Halali middle camp to have lunch and relax before we continue to Namutoni Camp at the Eastern side of the park and our place of stay at Namutoni Camp. After dinner a visit to the floodlit waterhole is highly recommended as there is a good chance of seeing rhinos and lions come to drink.

Day 4: Namutoni Camp to Ruacana

We make an early beginning and kick start our day with a game drive before we leave the park and drive into the Desert Mountains of the Kaokoveld,

Day 5: Ruacana

In the morning after breakfast we will join a local guide for a guided trip to the Ruacana Falls, which are waterfalls located near Ruacana on the Kunene River in Northern Namibia. The waterfall is 120 meters (390 ft) high and 700 meters (2,300 ft) wide in full flood. It is among the largest waterfalls in Africa, both by volume and width

Afterwards , the Himba people. During the afternoon we will pay a visit to Himba village where we will meet the local inhabitants. A special guide is going to be available for the time we are there. The guide will translate for us and introduce us to the “tribe”. We will learn about marriage customs, traditional food and we will visit the “holy fire”. Later we proceed the Ruacana falls and back back to our lodge.

Himba Village

Day 6: Ruacana to Kamajab Rest Camp (297km)

We drive after breakfast to our next destination situated in the damaraland in the small town of Kamajab . Oppi-Koppi is an oasis in the desert. An ideal, and last, resting place before driving off to Etosha, Windhoek, Damaraland, Kaokoland, Epupa Falls or Swakopmund.

Day 7: Kamajab to Brandberg (195km)


After breakfast we are off again to one of the most visited areas in Damaraland (Twyfelfontein) Here we will be accomapanied by a local guide on a one hour walk to see the bushman engravings that is believed to be over 2500 ‘s of years old.

Afterwards we drive further to join the damara Living museum ,which will tell us alittle bit about the way of living of the nomadic Damara tribe and the way of using medicine in the fields and lastly closing the show with a traditional dance. We than continue to our next destination for a refreshing afternoon to Brandberg ,the highest Mountain in Namibia .This is also home to the Desert Elephants.

Damara Living Musuem

Day 8 – Brandberg to Swakopmund,Skeleton Coast (230km)

We proceed after the to the coastal part of Namibia .Before making our way to Swakopmund we will head north to Cape Cross and visit the largest reserve of Cape seals for about 1 hour and we then will drive towards Swakopmund where we will be for the next 2 days. Swakopmund offers a variety of great restaurants and guest can reserve tables where they wish to have dinner.

Day 9 – Swakopmund

After breakfast guest can join activities offered or just explore this beautiful town of foot. Today the guest are free to do as they wish. Swakopmund is a coastal city in Namibia, west of the capital, Windhoek. Its sandy beaches face the Atlantic Ocean. Established by German colonists in 1892, the city’s colonial landmarks include the Swakopmund Lighthouse and the Mole, an old sea wall. Next to the lighthouse, the Swakopmund Museum documents Namibian history. Inland, the elegant Swakopmund Railway Station, now a hotel, also dates to the colonial era.

Day 10 – Swakopmund to Windhoek (353km)

Sadly we have come to the END of our tour .After breakfast we will be driving direction Windhoek the capital city. Your guide will bring you to your accommodation of your choice in Windhoek. We will have a quick stop in Okahandja for those who would like to do some souvenirs shopping and a little coffee shop close by for a small cub of coffee before we drive the last kilometers back to Windhoek.
